Statement of Faith

It’s all about God and His Kingdom. Not us.

We believe the Great Commission of Jesus Christ:
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My Name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues; they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. Mark 16:15-18

We believe the entire Word of God:
“Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action)”. 1 Tim 3:16

We believe in One God that comes forth in the God-Head.
God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit. [The Trinity].
…You are great, O Lord GOD; for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. 2 Sam 7:22

There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ
I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6
This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a Knowledge of the Truth. For there is One God and One Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as a ransom for all men – the Testimony given in its proper time. 1 Timothy 2:3-6

We believe in the power of the blood of Jesus.
…and has freed us from our sins by His blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve His God and Father… Rev. 1:5
…and with Your blood You purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. Rev. 5:9
And according to the Law, one may almost say all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. Heb. 9:22

We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep. For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 1 Cor 15:2,21

We believe in all the work of the Holy Spirit:
But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes He will guide you into all Truth. He will not speak on His own; He will speak only what He hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. John 16:13,14.

We believe the scripture that speaks of the new covenant:
“But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. “They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declared the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more." Jer. 31:33, 34; Heb. 8:10-12.

We believe God is omnipotent, all powerful, all knowing, all seeing, the beginning and the end, the Creator, our Father:
The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of Heaven and Earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And He is not served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
God did this so that men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being. As some of your own are His offspring.” Acts 17:24

We believe that “now” is the time to leave elementary teachings that divide the Body of Christ:
Therefore, let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so. Hebrews 6:1-3.

We believe that we must stay in a continual state of transformation into the likeness of Christ Jesus.
We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. Heb. 5:11-14

.
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:16-18.
